Nut Free Energy Bites

Nut Free Energy Bites

Energy bites are a great addition to lunchboxes to keep kids fuelled for an afternoon of learning. My version uses Wow Butter which is completely nut free but tastes just like peanut butter. I packed them into our Pick Box Bento.

I love these Energy Bites because:

✅ They are really easy to make - one bowl and four ingredients

✅ They are completely nut free so suitable for school and nursery

✅ The recipe makes 12 bites and can be stored in the fridge for 5 days or frozen too.

✅ You can customise the flavour. Try adding a little orange juice and zest for a delicious orange flavour or chocolate chips to make them more tempting for kids!

Ingredients:

  • 100g oats
  • 100g wow butter
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp honey

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredient to a bowl and mix well.
  2. Roll into 12 equal sized balls.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
