Nut Free Flapjacks for Lunchboxes

Nut Free Flapjacks for Lunchboxes

These nut free flapjacks are brilliant to batch make and send to school for the kids for break or lunchtime in our Pick Box Snack.

We love them because:

✅ They are really easy to make - one bowl and five ingredients

✅ They are completely nut free so suitable for school and nursery

✅ The recipe makes 16 flapjacks so you have snacks on hand for a couple of weeks

✅ They keep in an airtight container for 5 days or can be frozen for longer.

Ingredients:

  • 70g melted butter
  • 70g honey
  • 180g oats
  • 50g mixed seeds
  • 40g sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180c fan.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and mix well with a spoon.
  3. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and transfer the mixture into it. Press down with the back of a spoon to make it as compact as possible.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, leave to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before removing and cutting into 16 flapjacks.
